How to Qualify for Bursaries
The Volunteers in Action Program offers bursaries to youth (ages 12-30) who contribute to their community through volunteer work. Here’s how you can qualify:
- Register for the Program:
Sign up for the Volunteers in Action Program and begin tracking your volunteer hours. You must register through our website to be eligible for bursaries. - Complete a Minimum of 50 Volunteer Hours (September 1st – August 31st):
To qualify for a bursary, you must complete at least 50 volunteer hours during the program year, which runs from September 1st to August 31st. - Track Your Hours:
Use our online system to log your volunteer hours. You can easily keep track of your progress and ensure you’re on track to reach the 50-hour minimum. - Eligibility for Bursary Draws:
Once you’ve completed the required hours, you’ll be entered into a random draw for a chance to win one of our bursaries*!
